The Reflexotherapy Applicator combines pressure (the reflexology part) and acupuncture (without needles to puncture your skin) by simply lying on the applicator’s prickly plastic points or applying the applicator to the surface area on your body that hurts (see accompanying pictures for illustration on how to apply).

When using the Reflexotherapy Applicator, the surface of your skin is stimulated which then activates reactions in the internal system of the body to produce physiological changes which work towards releasing your problem (How Does Reflexotherapy Work?).

Called REFLEXOTHERAPY, the Reflexotherapy Applicator is applied to skin surface at area of body with discomfort or pain (i.e. shoulder, upper & lower back, hip,neck, buttocks, thigh, knee, abdomen, etc.) or reflex points (i.e. hands & feet).

The Reflexotherapy Applicator works on similar principles as acupressure and acupuncture (but without needles and penetration).
The Reflexotherapy Applicator will prick skin, but will not puncture. As the skin surface is stimulated, reactions to the internal body are activated. The skin and internal organs are linked with many information channels.
Minor discomfort from prick of Reflexotherapy Applicator to skin will only last for a few minutes; then a feeling of relaxation begins.
The Reflexotherapy Applicator may be applied up to three times daily for up to 60 minutes per application.

The Reflexotherapy Applicator can be used alone or in combination with other methods of treatment, but should not be used as a substitute for seeing your own doctor.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
While Reflexotherapy is considered generally very safe, it is recommended that this method not be used on the following groups of people:
* Pregnant (certain reflex points may trigger miscarriage if over stimulated)
* If suffering from acute infectious diseases
* On areas of body where there is a lump or tumor or unhealed fracture, on skin lesions or sores, or skin that has been broken as a result of injury or illness, skin that has been burned or scalded
* Cardiovascular or liver disease
* Psychotic disorders or severe mental illness
* Adult supervision for children 12 to 16 years of age. Not recommended for children under 12 years old. SHOULD NOT BE SUBSTITUTED FOR ORTHODOX MEDICINE, Check with your doctor.
